Are you looking to support your child in Maths or boost their confidence?
Every child has a potential and I am a believer of growth mindset and this reflects in my teaching style and approach. I will assess students and then offer support based on their needs. I use various strategies like using concrete materials, quizzes , problem solving tasks. The lesson structure will be based on the topic and the students will receive homework (on request of parents) at the end of each session.
What I teach
KS2
Working systematically through topics in KS2 , I support children with their Number/Place value, Formal methods of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions. I also deliver tailor made interventions for SATs.
£27 per hour
Year 7-Year 9
Supporting children with Arithmetics skills, Algebra, Ratio & proportions, Geometry and Stastics. Help them with the skills and also develop confidence, preparing them to transition into Year 10 and GCSE.
£30 per hour
Year 10 and GCSE
Guide students to confidently navigate Year 10 & 11 with the right support, concept clarity and challenging questions. Key skills covered from a range of topics including advanced number operations, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability. Some children may progress to master trignometry, area, volumes, and transformations. Support practise with past papers and mock tests.
£35 per hour
